Over 100 people have died in Nepal in connection with heavy monsoon rains. At least 64 people are still missing, according to the police.
Large parts of the country's eastern and central regions, including the capital Kathmandu, have been hit by extensive flooding since Friday.
It is likely that the death toll will increase as our search and rescue mission continues, says police spokesperson Dan Bahadur Karki to AFP.
The Kathmandu Valley had measured 240 millimeters of rainfall in the past 24 hours by Saturday morning, according to the country's weather agency.
