"Didn't know whether to laugh or cry"

Did Djurgården's SM-gold train go off the rails in Malmö? The Stockholm team was overrun in the league final and is now ten points behind MFF. You didn't know whether to laugh or cry after the first half, says goalkeeper Jacob Rinne after the 0-4 loss.

Djurgården remains on 38 points after 20 played matches – Malmö FF tops the table on 48 points on 21 matches.

It's clear that it's tough, but there are still a lot of matches left to play. We must make sure to take all three-pointers we can, says Une Larsson.

"Believe in it"

Goalkeeper Jacob Rinne about the situation in the table now that a two-week long national team break is waiting in Allsvenskan:

We must clearly believe in it. We will try to utilize this break to the best and then there's not much else to do than to take all the opportunities you can get. We've seen before that Malmö is also a human team that drops points against basically anyone in the series.

Djurgården coach Thomas Lagerlöf says after the big loss in Malmö that he doesn't quite have a grip on the table situation.

That we're a good bit behind is clear, but we'll play for it as long as there's a possibility to get high up in the table. We'll try to take as many points as possible, then we'll see how far it takes us, says Lagerlöf.

In the series final, Djurgården was down 0–3 already after 22 minutes – the goals came within a span of 12 minutes.

"Cheap and easy"

You didn't know whether to laugh or cry after the first half, says Jacob Rinne, who joined from Saudi Arabian al-Fateh during the summer and quickly became the first-choice goalkeeper after injuries in the squad.

It's tough to win matches when you're down 3–0 at halftime. They do it well, but it feels a bit too cheap and easy. They get to come into the most dangerous areas, continues Djurgården's goalkeeper.
