The English football coach Craig Shakespeare is dead, writes BBC.

Shakespeare had a long career as a player and later coach in English football. In 2016, he was the assistant coach behind Claudio Ranieri when Leicester sensationally won the Premier League. The following season, he took over as head coach of the club after Ranieri was fired.

BBC writes that Shakespeare fell ill with cancer in October last year.

He became 60 years old.
