The Sweden Democrats are losing almost everywhere, but still have their strongest stronghold in Skåne. In Sjöbo, the party received every third vote.

Danderyd was the Moderates' strongest stronghold – and simultaneously the Social Democrats' worst. In Jokkmokk, every fourth person voted for the Green Party.

The Sweden Democrats' setback in the European Championship election is noticeable throughout the country: The party appears to be losing ground in all municipalities except for about ten where they marginally increase or achieve the same result as in the 2019 European Championship election. This is shown by preliminary figures from the Election Authority on Monday morning.

The Sweden Democrats are also losing ground in strongholds such as in Skåne's Bjuv, where the party is losing around 7 percentage points.

The Green Party, which had a successful election, is increasing in almost all counted municipalities – most of all in Jokkmokk, where the party also achieves its highest result, nearly 26 per cent. However, the party's weakest strongholds are also found in the northern municipalities.

The Left Party, which was a winner, is moving forward in almost the entire country, and especially in the north. The largest increase is seen in Västerbotten's Malå, where the Left Party receives nearly 36 per cent. However, the party is also making significant progress in municipalities such as Vilhelmina and Umeå.

The Christian Democrats, on the other hand, appear to be losing ground in all municipalities except for a couple. The strongest stronghold is Högsby, where the Christian Democrats receive almost 20 per cent. A similar pattern is seen for the Centre Party, which seems to be losing ground in all municipalities except for one, Haparanda.

The Liberals, who barely cleared the 4 per cent threshold, increased slightly in their strongholds, such as Danderyd and Landskrona.

The results were compiled when 6,220 of 6,275 ordinary electoral districts had been counted. On Wednesday, the overseas votes will be reported in 314 so-called collection districts.
