Japanese Fast Retailing with the Uniqlo retail chain exceeds expectations and reports an operating profit of 145 billion yen, equivalent to approximately 9.4 billion Swedish kronor.
The company has performed well in both Europe and North America. It also continues to grow in India, Australia, and South Korea, which compensates for a sharp decline in China.
A strong result on the home market also contributed to the boost during the last quarter.
