Justin Timberlake has been arrested for driving under the influence, reports ABC News. The arrest took place in Sag Harbor, located in the luxurious resort of The Hamptons in the state of New York.
The singer was arrested on Monday evening, American time, and is due to appear in court, according to the Suffolk County district attorney's office. He was released from custody on Tuesday and is due to appear in court on 26 July.
Justin Timberlake has two concerts booked in Chicago for the weekend and two in New York City next week.
AP has tried to reach the star's management, which has not returned the call.
