Ski star Linn Svahn will run a long-distance race in the mountains in July, writes Lidingöloppet, which organizes the competition, in a press release.
Also, cross-country skiing colleague Johan Häggström has registered.
"Taking Lidingöloppet to Funäsfjällen is a way for us to get people out into nature and be able to offer a fantastic experience and challenge", says Lidingöloppet's general secretary Krister Svensson.
Linn Svahn comes from a strong season where she won the sprint cup and came second in the total World Championship.
Lidingöloppet outside Stockholm will be organized as usual in September, traditionally.
