It became an early summer this year – at least in Denmark.

The Danish Meteorological Institute DMI reports that May became warmer than June, something that has never been measured before during the 150 years that measurements have been taken.

During May, the average temperature was 14.6 degrees in the country, which is 0.1 degrees more than in June. The major reason is that May was clearly warmer than normal.

Those who hope for improvement will have to hold out. According to DMI's forecasts, the coming days will be cool, with temperatures between 8 and 18 degrees and also with increasing strong winds.
