It became no football European Championship for Wales. Now it is clear that the team's national coach Rob Page gets the sack. This confirms the Welsh football association.
It was in March that Wales failed to qualify for the European Championship that is currently underway in Germany. The team made it to the qualifying final against Poland but lost on penalties.
Page led Wales to the finals in the European Championship 2021 and the group stage in the World Championship 2022 – Wales' first World Championship in 64 years. But the qualification for the European Championship 2024 was thus a disappointment and in the friendly matches after the Poland match, Wales have shown weak form.
