The Finnish Ericsson competitor Nokia has reached an agreement with the American telecom giant AT&T on the expansion of fiber networks in the USA. The agreement is five-year, according to a press release from Nokia.
No order value is specified by Nokia.
The deal involves both upgrades to existing fiber networks and equipment for AT&T's future fiber networks.
Nokia's share price rises by over 1 percent after the announcement.
