Norwegian star Martin Ødegaard badly sprained his foot in Norway's Nations League match against Austria at Ullevål.
The club team Arsenal probably won't be too happy about it.
On Monday, he flew back to England in a private plane to undergo a medical examination.
He's on his way to London to have an MRI (magnetic camera examination) later today, says national team doctor Ola Sand to VG, and when asked about the nature of the injury, he responds:
As far as I know, it's a severe sprain and we're waiting to see what Arsenal comes up with.
Norway's national team captain Ståle Solbakken said after the match to TV2 that he didn't think Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta would call and give Solbakken praise.
Ødegaard is the captain and an important player for Arsenal. The injury may keep him out of league play for a while, with a London derby against Tottenham coming up on Sunday.
