Scandi Standard, a leading producer of chicken, reports an operating profit of 153 million kronor for the third quarter of the year. This is an increase in profit of 11 percent compared to the third quarter last year.
Net sales increased by 1 percent to 3.3 billion kronor and chicken volume increased by 3 percent to 71,468 tons in grill weight.
"With disciplined volume growth, improved product mix, and increased efficiency, we improved our operating profit", the company writes in a press release.
