Rise on the Stockholm Stock Exchange

The Stockholm Stock Exchange rose on Tuesday. The broad OMXS index increased by 0.4 percent.

Among the most traded stocks on the OMXS30 list, heating system manufacturer Nibe Industrier rose the most. The stock gained 3.8 percent.

Several companies performed strongly, including defense conglomerate Saab and pharmaceutical giant Astra Zeneca. Their stocks rose 1.6 and 1.2 percent, respectively.

On the other hand, among others, cloud service company Sinch fell 2.3 percent and mining company Boliden lost 1.9 percent.

Real estate company SBB retreated 1.7 percent.

The leading European stock exchanges also rose during the day. The gains in London, Frankfurt, and Paris were on par with the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

The krona has strengthened against both the dollar and the euro in recent weeks. One dollar cost 10.51 kronor and one euro 11.51 kronor late on Tuesday afternoon.

On Wednesday, both Swedish and American inflation figures will be released.
