A large search effort in the Gothenburg archipelago was discontinued shortly after 01 without anyone being found, local media reports.
The alarm about an unmanned boat came at 21 on Friday. The Swedish Maritime Administration, the Coast Guard, the Sea Rescue Society, and the Swedish Armed Forces searched the waters between Fiskebäck and Asperö.
We unfortunately did not find anyone. We ended the search since the area was quite limited and well searched, we had 15 units involved for five hours from our side, says Pontus Svensson from the Sea and Air Rescue Center to Göteborgs-Posten.
