Shots have been fired at a terraced house in Västergård in Södertälje. No one is reported to have been injured, but there were people in the residence, according to the police.

A number of shots are said to have been fired. They have hit both the building that we currently assess as the main target for this and an adjacent residence, says the police's press spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl.

The alarm came just before half past one. Even at 19:00, no one had been arrested.

The police are investigating the incident as attempted murder, aggravated weapons offence and vandalism.
