SJ increases the number of departures on popular routes and releases over 200,000 extra tickets for the summer. Among other things, the number of departures increases on the routes Stockholm – Malmö/Copenhagen, Stockholm – Umeå and Linköping – Stockholm – Gävle – Ljusdal.
"We have seen an enormous demand for train travel this summer and therefore we have carried out an intense planning effort and managed to free up even more vehicles and personnel to staff the trains with, says Petter Essén, Traffic and Vehicle Program Manager at SJ, in a press release."
