Linnea Ström played a stunning game and won her first LPGA tournament on Sunday, after going around New Jersey in incredible 11 under par.
The 27-year-old climbed from 52nd place to victory – a historic comeback.
A round of 60, with an eagle on the ninth hole and a total of nine birdies, left Linnea Ström at the top with a total of 199 shots, 14 under par.
This is not just the lowest round ever.
The 27-year-old climbed from 52nd place to victory, which is the largest climb in the LPGA Tour since 1984.
A score of 60, 11 under par, is also the lowest score in a decisive round for a winner in the LPGA Tour's history. The best round ever in the tour, 59 shots, was achieved by Annika Sörenstam in 2001.
Ström's victory and super round come after she missed the cut in five of her six most recent tournaments.
American Megan Khang, who finished joint second, was humble in the face of Ström's stunning play.
