An Australian surfing judge is fired after posting a photo of one of the competitors on his social media during the Olympic Games, reports ABC.
Judge Ben Lowe posted a picture of himself together with Australian surfing star Ethan Ewing and his coach. This led the International Surfing Association, ISA, to react.
"It is inappropriate for a judge to interact in this way with an athlete and their team", writes ISA in a statement.
The Olympic surfing is taking place on Tahiti.
