The coach Edin Terzic is leaving Dortmund, writes the German top club on its website.
Terzic, 41, says in a statement that "a new era is to begin with a new coach on the sidelines".
Terzic has been the head coach in Dortmund since the summer of 2022. His last competitive match was the Champions League final against Real Madrid (0–2 defeat).
In the league, Dortmund had to settle for a fifth-place finish.
