A major and important victory for our members, comments cabin union Fellesforbundet's chairman Jørn Eggum according to Verdens Gang.

After having been ongoing since Friday and primarily affecting Norwegian domestic routes, the strike was intended to be escalated from Wednesday and then include 800 cabin staff at SAS.

All details of the new agreement are not known, but according to Eggum, several demands have been met.

The most important demands have been fulfilled. We have reached an agreement on a significant wage increase, several free weekends and proper lunch breaks, he says.
