The Stockholm stock exchange ended the trading week on an upswing. The OMXS index rose by 0.3 percent.

The heat pump company Nibe's share price surged by 12 percent in the morning following a report. However, by the close, the gain had leveled off and the company ended up 0.9 percent.

Other winners on the OMXS30 list included the cloud service company Sinch, up 3.6 percent, and Electrolux, which rose by 2.7 percent.

The real estate company SBB ended up at the bottom of the index, with a decline of 1.3 percent. The pharmaceutical giant Astra Zeneca fell by 0.6 percent, and the investment company Kinnevik dropped by 0.5 percent.

The leading European stock exchanges went in different directions, up in Paris and Frankfurt but down in London.
