The Stockholm stock exchange fell on Thursday. The OMXS-index dropped 0.6 percent.

The stock market anxiety in the USA spread to the Swedish stock exchange, which initially fell sharply. However, towards the close, the Stockholm stock exchange partially recovered.

Among the large companies on the OMXS30-index, with the most traded shares, it was the defense conglomerate Saab that fell the most, minus 5.4 percent.

Also, the measurement technology conglomerate Hexagon fell heavily, minus 2.4 percent.

Astra Zeneca presented its quarterly report in the morning. The share fell 1.8 percent.

Telia was one of the companies that rose on Thursday. The share went up 2.6 percent. The real estate company SBB and Getinge both rose 1.8 percent.

On the leading European stock exchanges, the development was mixed. London increased slightly, Frankfurt fell in line with the Stockholm stock exchange, while the decline in Paris was larger.

The krona lost some value against the dollar and the euro. At 17:30, one dollar cost 10.81 kronor and one euro 11.73 kronor.
