Nordea leads the way on upbeat stock market

Shortly before 11 am, the Stockholm Stock Exchange's broad index is up by 0.3 percent.

Both Nordea, Investor, and ABB have reported quarterly figures before the stock market opening. All are rising. Nordea by 6.2 percent, Investor by 0.2 percent, and ABB is trading at a plus of 0.9 percent.

The other major banks are also rising after Nordea's report. SEB and Handelsbanken by 3.2 percent each, and Swedbank by 2.5 percent.

At the bottom of the OMXS30 index is Ericsson, which is falling by 1 percent, following a surge yesterday.

Wall Street closed trading on a plus. In Asia, both Tokyo and Hong Kong closed on a minus.
