Linnea Alsberg and Jimmi Nordqvist left the programme in the eighth episode on Linnea's initiative, and since then, there has been speculation about what really happened in the relationship.
When the couples gather for a follow-up weekend at a manor house outside Stockholm ten months later, Jimmi is not present – a decision that, according to him, was made in consultation with the production team. Today, he is strongly critical of how the relationship and, above all, his part in the breakup has been portrayed in various media.

Even Torsten Malmgård and Anastasia Exner abandon the "experiment" they call their marriage before the five weeks are up, but when they meet at the reunion, it is a decision that both parties seem satisfied with.
Emotional Shock
At the reunion, the couples see the final episode for the first time. For Emmy Johansson and Mattias Cedergren, it becomes extra emotional to see flashbacks of both the wedding and the decision day, since they broke up three weeks earlier.
Although I was very sad, I looked forward to the reunion, but it was almost an emotional shock when I sat next to Mattias and we saw our happiest moments at the same time as I was more sad than I had ever been, she says.
After ten months of marriage, Mattias began to doubt the relationship, and his emotional rollercoaster keeps the programme's psychologists fully occupied.
This is what I've always been afraid of, being left, but I've learned a lot during this process, and God, you can handle much more than you think, says Emmy Johansson.
Exciting Concept
Today, the couple are friends and still have some contact.
I'm extremely grateful to have gotten to know him. We'll always have a special bond, and it's been nice to be there for each other now that the programme has been broadcast.
Even though it didn't go all the way, Emmy Johansson doesn't regret her participation in "Married at First Sight".
I think it's an exciting concept, and it works for some. And I got to fall in love and experience a nice love relationship, she says.
Linnea and Jimmi:
On Linnea's initiative, the relationship ended with great drama in the penultimate episode. Linnea has today found love on Tinder. Jimmi is single, competes in bridge, and dates.
Anastasia and Torsten:
They too decided to end the relationship prematurely. Anastasia has today met love in Borås, and Torsten is in love with a woman who will soon become his partner.
Emmy and Mattias:
After being married for ten months, Mattias's feelings cooled, and they chose to break up. Today, both are single, still have some contact with each other, but are looking for love on their own.
Rosanna and Christoffer:
The only couple still happily married. Christoffer from Gothenburg has moved home to Rosanna in Malmö, where they are planning their future together.
