Over 10,000 customers of the company's Medleys swimming and gym facilities in Finspång and Ljungsbro have had their personal data published on the darknet after a hacker attack. In over 2,000 cases, bank account numbers have also been leaked, reports P4 Östergötland and P4 Värmland.
The information comes from Medleys' former facility in Finspång and current one in Ljungsbro. It concerns names, personal data, and in some cases bank account numbers from the business dating back almost 20 years.
In late September, it was discovered that a hacker group had gained access to Infracom's system and stolen large amounts of data.
Infracom refused to pay the ransom and the information was then published on the darknet. How large the leak is or if other companies are affected, Infracom does not want to disclose, reports P4 Östergötland and P4 Värmland.
