The broad OMXS index increased slightly on Tuesday, and ended up 0.5 percent.

The increase was broad, and most of the most traded shares on the OMXS30 list ended the day green.

Among the winners are the telecom company Ericsson, up 1.8 percent, and the engineering company Alfa Laval, up 0.6 percent. On the loser side, the mining company Boliden fell 0.7 percent.

The audiobook company Storytel reports a sharply increased profit in its quarterly report. The share surged 7 percent. Another report winner is the security company Securitas, whose share climbed around 4.8 percent.

Intrum falls nearly 11 percent on information in the Financial Times that a group of bondholders wants to stop the credit management company's plan to restructure loans.

The leading European stock exchanges had a mixed development, up in Paris and slightly down in London.

The trading week is characterized, among other things, by the heavy interest rate decisions expected from the central banks in Japan, the USA, and the UK.
