Wall Street has now in principle recovered after the crash earlier in August. When Thursday's trading closed, the US stock exchange had taken a definite step upwards.

The color of the day was green in the USA. Just before the opening, new job figures were presented, showing that the number of unemployed in the country decreased last week, which was followed by clear increases in stock market trading.

The industrial index Dow Jones rose by 1.4 percent, while Nasdaq's composite index rose by 2.3 percent. The broad S&P 500 increased by 1.6 percent.

Thus, the stock market has almost bounced back to the level it was at before the crash.

Among today's winners were retail giant Walmart, which rose by 6.6 percent after a strong quarterly report. Electric car giant Tesla increased by 6.3 percent and processor company AMD rose by 4.7 percent. All three stocks have now recovered after the crash.

Among Thursday's falling stocks were pharmaceutical company Pfizer, down 0.6 percent, food conglomerate Mondelez, down 1.3 percent, and telecom company Verizon, down 2.1 percent.
