A seriously mentally ill person being cared for at a forensic psychiatric clinic in Huddinge, south of Stockholm, has escaped, reports TV4 News.
A patient has absconded in connection with an outing with staff yesterday and has not returned, says Ola Broström, head of operations for Forensic Psychiatric Care Stockholm, to the channel.
The man is described by TV4 as a violent offender who in 2018 was sentenced to forensic psychiatric care for attempted murder, assault, and violent resistance.
The escape occurred on Tuesday.
