The World Wildlife Fund, WWF, is investing substantial sums in Swedish predators. A total of 3.6 million kronor will be allocated to projects focusing on research, innovation, and increased knowledge. This is the third consecutive year that a similar investment is being made.

Among other things, a "predator school" will be developed to increase knowledge about predators among children. Another project will develop a drone that can warn livestock owners to ultimately reduce the number of predator attacks.

"The goal of the investment is to contribute to viable predator populations and predator management that is long-term and predictable. We want the work to continue so that both humans and large predators can thrive and live together", says Benny Gäfvert, senior predator expert at WWF, in a press release.
