In the afternoon, a police patrol stops a driver on Road 602, southeast of Kristinehamn. The driver, a man in his 60s, shows signs of being under the influence of narcotics. The man is taken in for sampling, and analysis will determine if the suspicion remains. In the case, a search of the man's residence is also conducted, and suspected narcotics as well as approximately 50 liters of mash are found and seized.

The preliminary investigation continues and addresses suspicions of driving under the influence of narcotics, narcotics offenses for possession and personal use, as well as violations of the alcohol law. The man's driver's license is also confiscated.
