At least 17 people have died and 34 been injured in a bus accident in Afghanistan.
The accident occurred on a motorway between the capital Kabul and the northern parts of the country.
Traffic accidents are common in Afghanistan where the infrastructure has been neglected after decades of conflicts. Furthermore, the regulatory framework is inadequate and many drivers drive recklessly.
