The 18-year-old man suspected of murdering a 17-year-old girl in Mark's municipality suffers from a serious mental disorder, reports Borås Tidning.
This emerges from the forensic psychiatric investigation, which is now complete.
Borås District Court has previously found that the evidence points to the 18-year-old having killed the girl.
The girl disappeared in Mark's municipality in March. She was found dead four days later near her school. The suspected man – who was 17 years old at the time of the suspected crime – was arrested the same day.
