During Wednesday morning, an accident at Årstaberg in southern Stockholm caused a stop in train traffic between Stockholm Central Station and Södertälje South. By 08:30, the stop was rectified and traffic could start rolling again.
The stop affected trains to Gothenburg, Malmö, and Oslo, and the train route between Ljusdal and Linköping was also affected.
Even commuter trains from Södertälje and Nynäshamn north towards Märsta and Uppsala were stopped due to the accident.
