Israel's attack on the Gaza Strip continues to claim lives. Three-month-old Rim Abu Haya lost her parents and all her siblings in an attack on Khan Yunis. A few kilometers north, a four-day-old twin pair was killed.

Ten people from the same family were killed in an Israeli attack on eastern Khan Yunis late on Monday, according to medical sources at Gaza's Nasser Hospital.

The dead are reported to be a parent couple and their eight children. A single child survived the attack: three-month-old Rim.

There is no one left except for this baby, says her aunt to the news agency AP.

Since this morning, we have tried to feed her with substitute milk, but she doesn't want it. She is used to her mother's milk.

Several deadly attacks

In pictures from Nasser Hospital, the girl is wrapped in a black cloth to attend her family's funeral. Scars and burns cover parts of the girl's face and arms, writes AFP.

Her entire family is dead. Who will take care of her now? asks Khan Yunis resident Ibrahim Barbakh.

According to rescue and medical workers, several parts of southern and central Gaza have been shelled and bombed in Israeli attacks on Tuesday. Several of the attacks have been deadly, reports a number of media outlets.

Tens of thousands orphaned

In an attack in central Gaza, a mother and her four-day-old twins are reported to have been killed, reports AP. The twins' grandmother was also killed.

Israel's offensive against the Gaza Strip, which began after the large-scale attack by terrorist-stamped Hamas against Israel in October, has according to the UN made tens of thousands of Palestinian children orphaned. In hospitals, injured children are arriving alone with the English acronym "WCNSF": "injured child, no surviving family".
