The housing developer JM reports a profit before tax of 71 million kronor for the third quarter of the year. This can be compared to the profit of 120 million during the corresponding quarter a year earlier.

Revenues fell to 2.5 billion kronor, from 2.8 billion.

However, the number of sold homes increased to 649, up from 286 during the third quarter last year. And production starts also gained momentum, up to 637 homes during the quarter, compared to 201 a year earlier.

"We have increased sales in a still cautious market," says CEO Mikael Åslund about the quarter in a comment in the report.
