There were predominantly green figures on the large-cap index OMXS30. The only exception was the mining company Boliden, which fell by 0.8 percent.

The best performer was the real estate company SBB, which rose by 8.2 percent. The cloud service company Sinch increased by 5.6 percent, and Atlas Copco went up by 2.7 percent.

The major banks also performed well – Swedbank rose by 2.5 percent, while SEB climbed by 2.7 percent. Handelsbanken also rose, up by 1.9 percent.

The leading European stock exchanges in Frankfurt, London, and Paris also rose, in line with the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

The US stock market continues to recover after a few bloody days. After a few hours of trading, the S&P 500 had risen by 1.3 percent. The Dow Jones was up by 1.0 percent, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq had risen by 1.6 percent.

The Swedish krona has strengthened against both the dollar and the euro since Monday. One dollar costs 10.45 kronor, and one euro costs 11.42 kronor.
