The World Health Organization (WHO) announces that 15 children and one adult from Gaza are arriving in Spain today to receive treatment for severe medical conditions.
The children are between three and 17 years old, and the mother of one of the children will also receive treatment in Spain.
"These very sick children will receive the care they need thanks to cooperation between different partners and countries", says WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus in a statement.
The patients have been treated in Egypt for several months after being evacuated from Gaza.
