The British tech entrepreneur and billionaire Mike Lynch has been found dead on the luxury yacht that was involved in an accident and sank off the coast of Sicily on Monday, reports the Italian news agency Ansa.
Remains of a total of five people have been recovered from the wreck on the Mediterranean seabed. One person, Lynch's 18-year-old daughter, is still missing.
The Italian rescue service confirmed on Wednesday that five bodies had been found at the wreck and brought to the surface, but did not disclose who they were at the time.
The sailboat, a over 50-meter long luxury yacht named Bayesian, was anchored about 700 meters from a harbor when sudden storm winds hit it, during the early Monday morning.
15 people, including a one-year-old child, were rescued from the water after the accident.
