A thunderstorm on Wednesday afternoon stopped two planes from landing at Arlanda.
The bad weather has also caused delays for both domestic and international flights.
The weather has stabilized, but there are still some follow-up delays at Arlanda and a few at Landvetter, says Ellen Laurin, acting press chief at Swedavia.
Two planes had to land at other airports due to the thunderstorm. A flight from Nice landed at Landvetter and one had to return to Turku.
Swedavia recommends travelers to keep themselves updated via their airline or travel organizer if they have questions about their journey.
