Elvis Presley could be the next artist to be revived as a hologram.

The Swedish company behind ABBA's successful show in London is negotiating a new concert concept for the rock king, reports Financial Times.

The successes of ABBA as digital holograms in the "Voyage" show in London have led to plans for new performances with the same concept.

The Swedish company Pophouse, partly owned by Björn Ulvaeus of ABBA, has bought the rights to Kiss for 300 million dollars and is planning an "avatar show" with the rock group. Now, Pophouse is setting its sights on the very king of rock.

The plan is to stage a hologram show featuring Elvis Presley, who passed away in 1977. The star never went on a longer world tour, so this would be an opportunity to showcase Elvis Presley outside the USA, notes Financial Times.

The negotiations are in an early stage, writes the newspaper. But Björn Ulvaeus recently dropped a hint about the plans at a conference for venture capitalists in Berlin.

I would love to work with Elvis. I would like to see a young Elvis brought back to life, said Ulvaeus.

Pophouse has declined to comment on Financial Times' reports.
