Erabi struck again – but didn't get the final say

He likes to strike when it hurts the most for the opponent, Hammarby's Jusef Erabi. Ask IFK Göteborg. Or even more currently, the players of IFK Norrköping. The U21 national team player works best in extra time – but this time another point saver – Vito Hammershöy-Mistrati – had the final say in the 1–1 match.

When Hammarby decided with the only goal of the match away against Göteborg in the previous Allsvenskan round, the goal scorer and three-point maker was Jusuf Erabi.

Match minute: 90+11.

At home at Tele 2 Arena, he didn't take as long to break the deadlock against IFK Norrköping, but when he did, it hurt badly for Andreas Alm's team.

The first half was in its second and final added minute. Norrköping's right-back Yahya Kalley didn't keep up with Montader Madjed, whose cross was hit against the far post.

Back in the right place again

Who's there? Erabi, of course.

Fantastic, it feels great. I feel like I have good space, they're not following properly. Great ball, you have to be in the right place at the right time. It was just a matter of pushing it in, says Erabi to TV4 Play about the nod that gave Hammarby 1–0.

And about the pass. Just like against Göteborg, Madjed was behind the setup.

Tough for Norrköping, who had a strong half with several clear chances (Christoffer Nyman, Jesper Ceesay, Dino Salihovic).

It's always tough when it happens at the end. They get a good push in the dressing room and we, on the other hand. We match them well, but the result controls the thought, says coach Alm.

It also controls matches.

The second-placed team didn't need to spend the second half chasing the goal that gave three points, nor did they need to satisfy their supporters with a leading goal.

Late equalizer

That was maybe the problem. Hammarby thought the job was done. A hungry Norrköping forced and produced plenty of opportunities for an equalizer.

And Hammarby is not Hammarby if it doesn't offer a defensive wobble or two.

With three minutes left, Norrköping counter-attacked to 1–1 through substitute Vito Hammershöy-Mistrati.

A crucial point for the bottom team, which now has five points down to Värnamo below the relegation line. The Dane is a real point fixer. Three out of four goals this season have given points to IFK Norrköping.

It's coincidences, but I have a big faith in being able to come in as a "super-sub". It's tough to start on the bench, but when I come in, I have faith that I can make a difference, he says to TV4 Play.
