In the very last minute of the match, Linus Johansson got his knee in the wrong angle and had to be helped by the ice as he limped badly. Coach Tomas Mitell couldn't answer how Johansson's injury situation was after the match.

No, he says to TV4 Play.

The Behrn arena in Örebro was fully packed when the hockey rival from Karlstad came to visit.

The audience got to see when Färjestad's David Tomasek in the second period extended his lead at the top of the goal scorer list in SHL with his eighth goal of the season.

But then the fun was over for Färjestad.

Two goals in 20 seconds

In the beginning of the third period, the home team had 20 very lucky seconds when they went from 0-1 to 2-1 through goals by Ludvig Larsson and Emil Larsson.

When Tomasek then got a five-minute penalty, Örebro could go to 3-1 (Patrik Puistula). Färjestad then got a penalty shot that Tomas Steen safely put to 2-3. There were no more goals, despite Färjestad pulling the goalie at the end.

It was an even match over 60 minutes. We make a few mistakes in the beginning of the third period that cost us. And when they get a long power play, time runs out a bit, says Mitell.

Margins for and against

Färjestad looked unbeatable in the beginning of the SHL season when they won six matches in a row (four in regular time), but then they lost three (two in regular time).

Now we need to win a match. We had the margins on our side in the beginning and now we don't, says Mitell.

Färjestad dropped to fourth place, two points behind the new series leader Luleå, who beat Modo with 5-0. Timrå beat Skellefteå with 4-2 and is now third (17 points) and Skellefteå is second (18).

Modo is last after losing for the sixth time this fall.
