A 45-year-old man is sentenced to probation after threatening to murder a 14-year-old boy at a sports day, writes Helsingborgs Dagblad. The background is said to be that the boy got into a fight with the man's stepdaughter.
The incident occurred in Höganäs in June last year. A girl called her stepfather and was upset after a fight between herself and a 14-year-old boy.
When the man arrived, he grabbed the boy and dragged him away. According to the boy, he then said "one more time and I'll kill you". The incident was filmed by another student and witnessed by several teachers.
Helsingborg District Court now sentences the man, despite his denial, for minor assault and unlawful threats. The sentence is probation and 10,000 kronor in damages.
