The police in Stockholm have prevented at least five violent crimes last week, according to Dagens Nyheter.
It has been on the level of having a finished murder plan and having firearms ready in one's immediate vicinity. One case is directly linked to Södertälje and the others to other parts of the region, with an emphasis on areas in southern Stockholm, says Max Åkerwall, deputy police area chief in southern Stockholm, to the newspaper.
According to Åkerwall, around 20 people have been detained since last Thursday, all with connections to shootings and explosions.
