HV71's dream start became a nightmare for Färjestad's goalkeeper Maxime Lagacé.

The 31-year-old let in three goals in 11.32 minutes and was then done.

The Canadian showed what he thought and felt about the start against HV71. He slammed his stick against the wall and threw his helmet behind the bench.

The SHL top team, which came to Jönköping with a loss-free start to the season, never recovered after the start.

Henrik Borgström put HV71 ahead 1-0 after just 3.34, following Färjestad's sloppy play at the offensive blue line, and then came two quick power-play goals from Hugo Pettersson and Tanner Kero.

In the second period, Jamiro made it 4-0 after 10.05, also in power play.

Generally speaking, it's not a top performance from us, but it's not a 1-4 match either. We're not satisfied, says Magnus Nygren, who scored the reduction in power play, to TV4 Play.

Sometimes there are days when it doesn't work out. You have to be big in those moments when it doesn't work out, but it's frustrating when I know we're in really good form. We did HV well.

In the third period, the home team secured their second full points of the season through Kero's second goal to 5-1 and Mattias Tedenby's 6-2.

In the final minutes, the home crowd stood up and applauded the team after the 6-3 win.

We're clearly happy about the win. We were disappointed after Thursday's match and we wanted a quick response from our group, and this was a big win against a good team, says Kero to TV4 Play.
