Färjestad's Linus Johansson needed help to get off the ice in the away game against Örebro.
Now the Karlstad club will have to manage without the team captain for a while.
He will be out and not play in the near future, says the medically responsible Mattis Hell to the club's official account on X.
Hell also says that it's "too early to say any prognosis" and that Johansson, who injured his knee, has already begun his rehabilitation.
Färjestad lost in Örebro, 2–3, which was the club's third straight defeat in SHL. On Thursday, the club will face Malmö.
