Kalmar FF took three important points in the relegation battle when they defeated Allsvenskan's second-place team Djurgården 2–1. Jonathan Ring decided against his old club.

In the middle of the second half, Jonathan Ring scored the winning goal in the match after being served a deep pass by Jacob Trenskow.
I had a bit of luck, the ball bounced under the defender who slid tackled. But such goals count too, says Ring to Max.
Djurgården's coach Thomas Lagerlöf was not satisfied after the match.
I'm very disappointed about how we let the match slip away. It's only fair to congratulate Kalmar, they're better than us in the second half, he says to Max.
Successful substitution
The match was very intense, filled with injuries, at Guldfågeln Arena. Djurgården was forced to make two substitutions already in the first half, Kalmar FF one.
As early as ten minutes into the game, Djurgården's Tokmac Nguen was substituted out and replaced by Tobias Gulliksen. Four minutes later, KFF's Simon Skrabb had to leave the pitch, Max Svensson replacing.
For Djurgården, the substitution was successful. Gulliksen delivered the cross that Oskar Fallenius headed in after half an hour's play.
In stoppage time in the first half, Djurgården's Jacob Une Larsson also went out, replaced by Miro Tenho.
"Extremely important goal"
Due to all the injury breaks, there were twelve minutes of stoppage time. In the next-to-last stoppage minute, Kalmar counter-attacked. Trenskow sprinted down the right flank and delivered the ball in front of goal, where Dino Islamovic tapped in the equalizer.

Kalmar remains in the qualifying spot, but is now four points behind IFK Göteborg above the line. With new coach Stefan Larsson, KFF has won two and lost one match.
Djurgården remains in second place, seven points behind Malmö FF.
Häcken dropped points
Häcken took a 2–0 lead over Värnamo already after a quarter of an hour. First, there was an own goal (by Hampus Näsström) after seven minutes' play, then Zeidane Inoussa scored 2–0 in the 14th minute.
Seven minutes into the second half, Värnamo reduced the lead through Gustav Engvall. And in the eighth minute of stoppage time, Johnbosco Kalu equalized, set up by Hampus Näsström, who thus got revenge for the own goal.
As a result of the dropped points, Häcken fell one place, to fifth place, since Hammarby won the Stockholm derby over Brommapojkarna 2–0.
Bouzomana Toure and Jusef Erabi scored Hammarby's goals. It was the fourth time in the last five matches that Hammarby didn't concede a goal.
