Olympic gold medalist Emmanuel Wanyoni, Kenya, won the 800-meter race in Brussels with a time of 1:42.70. This in a final filled with stars on a distance that has maintained high class throughout the season.

It's a crazy class out there. I've improved myself a lot this year, says Kramer to TV4.

Three times this season, Kramer has improved the Swedish record on 800 meters – a total of nearly one and a half seconds down to 1:43.13.

Now it was 1:44.30 in the DL final.

Of course, I would have liked to take a few more places, but I'm summarizing a good season anyway, he says after finishing seventh in Brussels.

Nice to get it over with. The last few weeks have been really tough. I feel that the training has gone well in the last sessions, so I knew I could do something good today. It's not bad what I'm doing. It's under my previous Swedish record, from last season.

Kramer had high hopes of reaching the Olympic final in Paris, but finished seventh in his semifinal. This year's season has, however, been his best in his career.

There are many highlights. The Olympic Games are one of them, even though it didn't go exactly as I wanted there, says the 27-year-old.
