The abuse of passports reported as lost, but actually sold, has decreased significantly since it became possible to obtain only three passports in five years in 2016.
The passport police expressed a wish during the visit that a similar rule should be introduced for national ID cards, which are also a travel document. Kristersson also heard that there are problems with too many temporary pink passports in circulation.
There is more to be done, but it's much better now than before, says the Prime Minister.
