The Medical Products Agency and the National Board of Health and Welfare have been tasked by the government to strengthen the availability of particularly critical healthcare products through so-called manufacturing preparedness.
The task includes, among other things, that the Medical Products Agency will map the Swedish pharmaceutical production. It will also provide recommendations on which medicines it is particularly important to have access to in the event of increased preparedness.
